Just STUFF!

So this was a few months ago but we have a new addition to our family! As you can see B is in heaven, he loves puppies! His name is Bolt....yes from the movie how original but B named him.

We had a black Lab that Ryan had had since the fourth grade, 19 years old and he was a sweet hear, very protective of B and our family and he had to be put down a few months ago because he couldn't see or walk or anything. He would run into the wall, it was sad!

But now we have this new little monster, HIs name started out as Gilbert by the original owner and then it was Moose and now its Bolt! so we really liked him, then he started to bike and chew on everything and everyone, now i don't like him and he is afraid of me! But we hope it changes soon. We were so spoiled with our other dog Zach, he is a boxer!

And we also went to Ry's uncles wedding it was up at there families cabin and it was fun! Down the hill from the wedding festivities there is a creek that the kids love and of course here they are just about naked playing!:)

Awesome family pic with B in chonies!:) sweet

Memorial Day 2010

Okay, so a bit of a serious post but i just think that it is needed! Things that you just don't think will ever happen to you, "we watch our kids", or "I'm a safe driver", or "that wouldn't happen here". All things I have definitely said at one time or another when hearing about something happening in other places, or to other families! NOT THIS TIME!
So Memorial Day will forever have a little bit of a different meaning (although I'm very grateful for those who serve our country...love them)! We, like many families, were having a big BBQ at my in laws, swimming, having a good time with all our family . We ALWAYS have someone watching the pool, many parents counting heads and making sure finished swimmers were out of the gate and others were w/adults or wearing life jackets. When some went inside and a few left in the pool, my husband happened to swim to the other end of the pool where he saw our nephew looking down into the pool. He happened to look down to notice another nephew at the bottom. Nobody saw him fall in and we didn't know how long it had been! Very panicked he grabbed him, pulled him out onto the side of the pool, yelled to call 911 and my brother in law(an ER nurse) who thank heavens was there started CPR. Giving CPR for about 7 or 8 min, until he finally started to cry and get water out. Right then they gave him a blessing and the EMT's showed up and took him to the hospital who then flew him to Tucson for monitoring! It was the scariest most awful day I have ever experienced and the only reason for this post is because seeing that little boy being pulled out was terrifying and to think that could have been my child hurts my stomach! We can't just think this won't happen to us or that someone else is watching them! It is so dangerous to be lazy around the pool or swim lessons or life jackets! This is just a reminder that we need to be so careful!
Thank Heavens that sweet little boy is fine! It is a miracle for how long it went on for and how much water was in him, but he is back to complete normal and we thank Heavenly Father everyday that that day didn't turn out so much worse. He wasn't supposed to leave us that day and i think he has a special little mission here! We came to close to losing a sweet little four year old and I really hope that this will make everyone a little more careful around the water! PLEASE!

Where Dreams Come True

Wow! A month ago we went to Disneyland and of course it has taken this long for me to post about it but my computer wasn't letting me download pictures so anyways here we are!

And this is probably a really long post and way to many pictures that really no one wants to see that bad so skim or whatever! But i have to document everything for whenever this becomes my little journal so get used to it!
And this is our journey to the magical place! (ignore my super whiteness, i just really don't want people to think im illegal:) jk)
For a while we have all wanted to go to Disneyland and take the kids so we decided this would be a fun time. We were wanting all of Ryan's fam. to come but it didn't work out for everyone. So it was OUR family, Ryan's brother Garrick and his wonderful wife Kara:) and there two girls and baby on the way, and Ryan's parents who brought Hunter our nephew and it was such a blast!! So we drove Sunday and the pic of the kids lined up was a gas station who knows where and it had grass so we had a picnic! And the other pics are our lovely and really fun drive! not. Reece is at that age that she doesn't want to stay in one place very long, so that was rough! But other than that it really wasn't to bad!

Check out Bryson's eye! So we get to our hotel late sunday night, go to bed bla bla bla! The next morning Bryson jumping up and down so excited, pretty much running up walls he is so happy. So me and Gary and Garrick (ryans dad and bro.) were going to pick up our super shady Disney tix we got on ebay:) and Bryson started playing on the concrete stairs by our room and slipped and hit head first on the concrete. What a way to start our vaca. right! So he is screaming and yelling i left to meet this guy and come back and this is his face but he had a HUGE goose egg on his head, and it didn't get this black until a couple days later, it was yellow. Crazy!

And then of course DISNEYLAND! We road every ride probably and I have been quite a few times. More the last seven years of my life than anyone should ever go! jk I loved every time but i had never been on all the kids stuff, since i was little! And it was so cute and fun. B loved it! And to see his face when he saw a character was so hilarious, it was worth the drive!

And Reece was such a soldier! She chilled in the stroller prob. the whole time and was so happy as long as we held her ever now and then and she got fed! She is a sweet heart!

so here are more rides of course! And the kids found this area next to a ride that when the rafts came down, they would splash and cover this little area! And of course it was way more fun for the kids to wait there for me and kara to go on this ride than anywhere else! They prob thought that this was a ride b/c they loved it so much!

Oh my goodness and then of course more rides! But I have to say, B's favorite part of everything was riding the Carousel(sp) merry go round thing, and seeing Mickey Mouse! It was so cute, we tried to get him not to wait in line for mickey but he wanted to so so bad! It was worth it! And then he talked about it all day, how he gave Mickey a hug and took a picture with him! I love that kid, such a cutie!

I love the pictures of the kids together because all of them look in different directions and a lot of the time DO NOT WANT TO SMILE! Its too funny! It must be all the waiting in lines!

We had fun with our nephew too! Ryan's parents took him b/c his fam. couldn't come with us! And he had more energy than all of us put together! But we love him:) FUNNY STORY.. so our last night there we were leaving the park and Hunter (our nephew) who is 5 started chasing the ducks that rome the park. Well he caught one and then threw it into the little pond (they fly)! We were all laughing and all "good job hunter"! Well this old man park worker, like a trash dumper, comes over and starts yelling at Hunter saying the ducks are protected and it is against the law to catch one! YELLING at a 5 year old! Well my father in law was not going to have this! He went over and grabbed Hunters hand while this old man yelled at him and started walking off and said "He is 5 do not yell at him, it is a duck!" He was so upset at the man, it was so awesome! ANd the old man kept following him still trying to yell at him! The only reason we Hate California! But it was funny!

Ryan of course said, you should have told him you have a hunting license!

Okay so this is ALMOST OVER I PROMISE! On our way home we stopped at the Beach for one last good time! And B had never been so of course I wanted him to get to go! He loved it, it was so freezing cold and he and his cousins still got in and were all soaked! It was fun to watch them have so much fun! And of course Hunter started to bary himself in the sand! So they all had to use the outdoor community shower! (Cali loves there bums more than we do)

Isn't he so dang hot!:) he just needs to open his eyes!

So thats it for now, but i have a lot more posts to come! Like REECE TURNED ONE! so i have lots of pics from her birthday!

11 MONTHS OLD! WHAAAAT....

WOW... so apparently time really does fly! I can't believe she is going to be one, well in 2 1/2 weeks anyways! She is so different from Bryson, and I love it. I love that she is on her own schedule and is so dand chill! She is happy sitting and watching everyone else around her! NO Really, she finally is crawling and only if she has to get to something she really wants. If she wants me, she won't come get me or crawl to me, she gives her puppy dog face and goes " uh uh uh" she's lucky she's cute:) jk We love her and she is so much fun to have around! And Bryson loves her too....like crazy!
I have no idea what her stats are, but two months ago she was 16.5 pounds and 26" tall. like the 20% for both. Big change from B being in the 99% every time.

Happy Late Easter

(I love this picture of Reece with Del Ann! )
So every year we usually have an Easter picnic and this year we didn't because of General Conference (which was really really good) and we got to stay home. It was fun to wake up and see Bryson excited about his Easter basket. I don't really see the point in Easter baskets and the crazy bunny but whatever, who doesn't like an easter egg hunt!
But the kids had fun and I think my inlaws had fun hiding over 200 hundred eggs for the kids to hunt! And my mother inlaw always has the cutest little matching gifts. The boys got John Deere Tin lunch boxes with sunglasses and goodies and the girls got cute purses with sunglasses and goodies! So here they all are in the glasses they got and all of the loot!

before the hunt

After the hunt
And of course the annual Egg coloring! (topless)
And these are just of my little 11 month old (well in a week)
she loves the water...swimming, bath time, anything!

How we begin our day.......

and then how it ends!.........shortly after Reece is dressed and ready for the day she decides that she doesn't want to wear any accessories, and this is what happens! Its a battle i am willing to keep fighting for the sake of SHE's NOT A BOY! Ears pierced wearing pink .....i don't know maybe its that chubby face! Some people! Im kidding i don't really care that much, but it does drive me crazy some!:)

And these two pictures of Bryson just crack me up! I was doing dishes the other day and kept telling him to go play with her and make her laugh (because that is the only way i can get something done is if he entertains her) and i finally get in there to see what he was doing and he had these on, and he thought they were so funny! Anyways just thought you could have a nice laugh!

Happy St. Patty's Day

happy st. pattys day to everyone! I hope it was a fun day, we didn't do anything because poor B had pink eye and became allergic to the drops and so its been a lovely week, therefore one child in the picture in her green because its so sad to see, but B can't even open his eyes! I have officially felt what it would be like to have a blind child. Really, he hasn't opened his eyes in 24 hours and let me tell you wow! I give it to anyone with a child with any disability. But anyways, happy st. patricks day!

Oh i have to tell about this picture really fast. So Reece's new thing is to do this snort like sniff. its hilarious she breaths really loud and fast and makes this crazy face that Ry taught her and its adorable! I just had to get a pic of it, but i really need a video maybe someday:)
